Jesse Wright
Director at Large
Jesse Wright, a Councillor for the District of Mackenzie, has a passion for public service and wants to help Northern communities advocate for themselves.
Jesse is in his first term as a Councillor with the District of Mackenzie. Prior to moving to Mackenzie, Jesse lived in Ontario, where he achieved my BA in Political Studies and a Bachelor of Education. Jesse moved to Mackenzie as a classroom teacher and taught for one year, followed up with various jobs, from bartending at the local Legion, being a Regional Business Liaison with Community Futures, and being a Visitor Information Officer at Mackenzie’s Visitors Centre. Politically, he worked for three years as a Constituency Assistant to the local MLA in Mackenzie.
